I don't understand why this page even exists still, given that the subject is covered by a full chapter in the Manual.

Your response is, sadly, predictable. To your points:

True. As I am sure you know, images can be added to the Guide.

I know, as I have written and edited many parts of the Guide. (Before you suggest it, I stepped away from any editorial role in GnuCash a number of years back, and will not return to it)

Literally everything you say is true, but I disagree with your conclusion. The correct thing to do is move this information out of the wiki and consolidate it in the Guide, where it belongs. Putting information in multiple places is a sure way to confuse users. And frustrate them. Just because one thing is easy, and a second is not, is not a valid reason to choose the first over the last.

Since I know I'm not going to make the edits, and I can surmise you won't either, then I guess I'll just let other users suffer with the fragmentation and let this suggestion drop.
