12:44:07 <jralls> warlord, I'm puzzled about the conflict in global_params. What was it and where did it come from?
12:57:38 <warlord> Fell pushed an update.. Then after I fixed it, he pushed a back-out of his update...
12:58:22 <warlord> What we REALLY need is to have global_params import local_params if it exists, then I can move my local changes over there and not have to worry about conflicts.
13:02:10 <jralls> Does your local_params augment or override values in global_params?
13:57:49 <fell> How about https://github.com/Gnucash/gnucash-htdocs/pull/187 ?

16:18:27 <jralls> fell, warlord, if it's just DEFAULT_SERVER we can change it to define("DEFAULT_URL", "https://" . $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME'] . $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI']. "/"); and it will work anywhere.
16:26:13 <fell> Should it work anywhere? Keyword Pishing
16:32:06 <warlord> jralls, "Does your local_params augment or override values in global_params?" Override.

16:37:37 <jralls> fell, no, that's the $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] version. 'SERVER_NAME' gets the actual server name from apache/ngix, though there's a note on https://www.php.net/manual/en/reserved.variables.server.php that "Under Apache 2, UseCanonicalName = On and ServerName must be set." otherwise it's the same.

16:42:56 <cstim> huh, seems to be somewhat more difficult to get voice priviledges...
16:42:59 * cstim waves
16:43:28 <cstim> how do I ping @fell ...?
16:43:38 * cstim forgot all the IRC syntax
16:44:22 *** palerider has left #gnucash
16:45:43 <fell> I am listening, cstim.
16:46:22 <cstim> What's the current preferred way to receive an updated de.po file?
16:46:33 <fell> At is the bot-prefix
16:46:45 <fell> For which branch?
16:47:04 <cstim> master
16:47:05 <fell> Most translators just use weblate.
16:47:33 <cstim> I have approx 100..150 strings unfuzzied. Should I upload my de.po into weblate?
16:47:57 <fell> Our NZ guy found you can load up there also your version.

16:48:27 <cstim> "Datei-Uploadmodus" hat viele Möglichkeiten: https://docs.weblate.org/de/latest/user/files.html#upload-method
16:49:35 <cstim> *sighs*
16:49:39 * cstim *sighs*
16:49:53 <cstim> the documentation lists a different set of upload possibilities than the actual webpage.
16:51:41 <cstim> fell: The upload method offers "add as translation" and also "add as approved translation". Which one do you want me to choose for 100..150 strings that are from fuzzy to unfuzzy?
16:52:20 <fell> Just as translation
16:52:56 <cstim> "Processed 5494 strings from the uploaded files (skipped: 5084, not found: 0, updated: 101). "
16:53:05 <fell> If you review my changes, you can set them to approved and vice versa.
16:53:54 <fell> Are the 5084 unchanged?
16:54:16 <cstim> I think so, yes
16:57:16 <cstim> But weblate says there are 5184 strings waiting for review. To me it seems impossible to get this number of strings reviewed on the webpage interface?!?
16:59:13 <Simon> there is an option in the top right to view multiple strings on one page
17:00:27 * cstim doesn't see that
17:01:06 <Simon> Zen mode
17:01:14 *** doc has joined #gnucash
17:01:20 <cstim> ah, right
17:01:48 <Simon> not quite sure how you mark things as reviewed
17:01:59 <fell> ctim, together with the fuzzy flag you should also remove the '#| msgid …' lines.
17:02:54 <cstim> should I? apparently my editor is too old to do that for me, so that's why this hasn't been removed.
17:04:21 <fell> The reviiew is in our current process not required to display your translatien. It is there to help us to enhance the quality.
17:04:55 <cstim> ok, I'm off again to other work. Have fun"!
17:04:57 <cstim> ok, I'm off again to other work. Have fun!
17:05:16 <cstim> (no possibility to edit previous messages here... this is not slack, I get it)
17:05:28 <fell> Thanks! Have fun .
