17:14:21 <jralls> CDB-Man, chf, I don't think the lot feature works very well for stocks at all, with or without splits. But IMO a stock split doesn't create a new lot, nor does it affect the book value of the investment. It just changes the number of shares and the price per share.
17:16:53 <jralls> It doesn't even affect the holding period. If you bought 100 XYZ 360 days ago and it splits 2:1 today you can still sell all 200 shares next week and it's a long term gain for the whole thing.
