04:26:16 <swordfish> hello, I was wondering about the migration from telly to GNU-CASH. As far as I know, With Telly, I can export in either csv or xml that would work. Looking at gnucash docs, `csv` is the only common format.

After set up I tried added accounts but it failed (did not do anything) After uninstall & reinstalling & confirming app access i still had the issue so, juts to make sure it was not the app, i installed on an other machine which worked great without issue. Any Ideas on what o should check on my active PC that might be blocking the ability to add new accounts (i can delete accounts without

Adding accounts refers to the option to right click from within the account hiearchy and selecting "New Account" to add a new chart of account (Ledger Account) Te note that got cut off was trying to say I can select the Delete Account function and delete an account with no issue. The application woks largely. but for some reason some functions appear restricted .

17:20:42 <warlord> Only time I see GnuCash turning the controls grey is when it is saving the data, which it does automatically every X minutes (I think the default X is 30)

17:31:16 <Rabbit01> windows has a function that allows you to have mu;ting screen images in single screen,, you hover over the top of the screen and a tab comes down with the place holders .. . yo can then drag the screen image to manage multiple screens in a display .. i don't use it intentionally but some times images end up there .. but not for dialogue boxes .. anyway .. i tried to see if the pop up ended there and i did not see it
17:37:40 <warlord> Unfortunately you've hit my limit.. I recommend you take a bunch of screen shots and email the gnucash-user mailing list for help. MANY more people there, including windows users.
