10:01:49 <Robert847> Hello. I am trying to import transactions from a CSV file in GnuCash version 5.9 build 5.9+ (2024-09-28 installed in Windows 10. I have set the column descriptions as I want them, but when I try to assign the account there us a symbol that looks like a wrench and screwdriver that seems to be described as "Set the visibility of placeholder and hidden accounts". That doesn't stop me from selecting an account via the drop-down list

10:11:19 <Robert847> I have not found visibility settings in preferences and there is no link or further help in the importer
10:16:48 <Robert847> Under the Accounts tab there are column names to show which accounts are placeholders or hidden but noting to show whether they are visible.
10:18:33 <Robert847> I dont remember having this issue in previous releases 4.8 and earlier.
10:30:03 <Robert847> The View > Filter By menu doesn't have Account Type and Other choices when I am in the window of the account where I want the imported transactions to land.
