13:15:18 <Myst> Is there a way to run a profit & loss report that compares different periods?
13:17:40 <Myst> And is there a way to export reports to Excel or CSV?
14:14:54 <AdrienM> Myst, Income Statement (Multicolumn), but the periods aren't arbitrary but consecutive. (each period of this year so far is one option) So, you can't compare only Jan '23 to Jan '24 in the same report for instance, for this and other similar uses, you'd need to export to a spreadsheet.
14:16:49 <AdrienM> As for those exports, any modern spreadsheet app including Excel should be able to open up any report properly as it is just an HTML table. In a worst case, you can select-all & copy while viewing the report, then paste it into a blank spreadsheet tab. In either case, you likely want your app to recognize special numbers, and of course, you may need to do some format manipulation to your liking.
