11:57:04 <tc> hi, i can't get gnucash to work like it used to... i imported bank data and account structure but when i view the list of operations, it won't let me assign an operation to an account... the drop box doesn't show the other accounts (ie. when i click on the arrow, instead of showing all the other accounts, it doesn't do anything)
12:05:36 <tc> hmm, it does the same thing with my 2022 files... i guess it's because i've updated my gnucash program. i'm now using 4.8 on linux.
12:15:52 <tc> this is the weirdest thing... it does work for the line that is exactly in the middle of the screen. if i scroll up or down, the drop-down menu works for which ever line is centered on the screen...

12:46:03 <tc> ok so it's clearly a display bug with the default package of my linux mint. so i uninstalled gnucash package and tried the flatpak version which does work as expected. it sucks to use up 4GB just to use gnucash but for now it solves the problem.
