13:01:09 <jralls> @tell chris the order that lines in a function are executed is up to the optimizer, see https://stackoverflow.com/a/38025837/3161837 for an extremely detailed explanation. That applies equally to C and C++. For ensuring that destructors, whether C++, GObject, or something else, are called in the right order you have to either make it so that there is no restriction or ordering or carefully use reference counting.
13:01:09 <gncbot> jralls: The operation succeeded.

17:26:17 <CDB-Man> if I created an incorrect invoice, is there any way to delete it?
17:26:50 <jralls> No, but you can reuse it as long as it isn't posted.
17:29:04 <CDB-Man> hmm, im guessing deleting the posted transaction at the register level is not a great idea

17:37:48 <jralls> Unpost the invoice first, then you can safely delete the transaction in the register.
17:38:47 <jralls> I'm not sure but I think there's a check in the transaction code that will block you from deleting a transaction that's on a posted invoice.
17:39:30 <CDB-Man> guess I'll hold it then until i next need to invoice this customer
17:41:17 <jralls> I think you can change the customer so you can reuse the invoice the next time you need one.

18:12:10 <AdrienM> It will block you from deleting an invoice in the register(s). You have to unpost. That also removes the transaction from the affected registers for you.
18:12:24 <AdrienM> Yes, you can change the customer assigned to an invoice for re-use.
