01:56:38 <bluesanta> hello, I'm new to gnucash. I installed on ubuntu 23.10 using the Software Center. Whenever I close then reopen GnuCash, I have a blank file and am asked if I would like to import a QIF file. I have tried click "No" and "Do not show on startup," but it still comes back.

02:35:36 <bluesanta> as I'm working on my file just now, I also notice that if I delete a transaction I get a pop-up box that allows me to indicate that I don't want to be asked again whether I really want to delete a transaction. However, even if I indicate by checking the option that I would like for the pop-up not to reappear, it still happens on every attempt thereafter.

13:03:29 <jralls> bluesanta, those issues are stored using GSettings which in turn uses dconf, so make sure that you have that and dconf-gsettings-backend installed. That should have been done for you when you installed GnuCash so you might want to file a bug with Ubuntu about that.
