Notice the second record below, "Internet", has no amount value as the transaction only stores information about the transaction. When trying to import if there is no amount value I'm receiving a "New, already balanced" message and once imported I cannot find the transactions with no amount values. Is there a way to import these records with no amount values?

14:17:09 <jralls> @tell portot GnuCash doesn't support 0-value transactions. You can have 0-value splits on transactions. So for your Internet item you'd have the CC transaction with the usual two Cr and Dr splits and the 0 split for whatever account you want to leave a marker in. You'll have to make a multiline CSV to import that.

22:53:13 <portot> <jralls> thanks for the input on the 0-value transaction. I tried creating a 0-value transaction in GnuCash and see it does have two records associated with it when exported. One for account Assets:Current Assets:MyBank and another for account Expenses:Internet. As I don't have a large number of 0-value transactions I'll just hand enter these. If anyone references this in the future my exported single 0-value transaction looks
