22:09:00 <Robert847> HI. I am running release 4.8 in Ubuntu 22.04 and tonight it has suddenly started to consistently crash when I try to run the Since Last Run updater. The Check and Repair did not find the problem. What can I try next?

22:41:00 <Robert847> I don't recall editing any scheduled transactions yesterday or today. I think the first crash came when I clicked on the GnuCash Icon on the left accidentally and GnuCash tried to start another session. When I tried to stop it I closed the first session and the half-open session simultaneously.
