15:19:47 <jralls> Are you sure? When I do it in the other direction I have to set LANGUAGE in order to get "Diese Version befindet sich noch…" instead of English. And if I export LANG and LANGUAGE, which should affect the Perl environment too I still get those lines in English.
15:35:31 <jralls> Oh, those are GnuCash strings from gnucash-commands.cpp lines 309 & 310. They're translated with boost::locale::translate so I guess the locale it gets isn't being affected by the environment variables.
