09:23:03 <henk> my bank’s only usable export format is camt.053 but that can’t be imported directly into gnucash, not even with newer gnucashs than the one I have from debian stable, so I’m using 'ofxstatement' to try to convert it but that converter is very much not complete, so it gets the date wrong for some reason. there isn’t really much point in importing vs just manually entering

14:37:56 <henk> fell: well, yeah, it can read it, but not properly. a camt.053 can have multiple entries (Ntry), each of which can contain multiple transactions (Tx). aqbanking (at least the version I have here) imports entries as a whole, not its individual transactions. but I’d like "buying some flowers in an online shop" and "monthly mobile phone subscription" to be separate transactions in

16:02:40 <Joc> fell: the quicken_3part.chk is in a portrait, the ASAP ones are in landscape layout. I agree some process to share cheques format files would be good. The paper format is 8.5x11. I've never used the git, and I don't see where in the wiki it should go. I've spent many hours understanding how to create those configuration and enter the data, would be nice to share the results.
16:22:25 <jralls> chris, I don't even try to remember. Even if I had perfect memory I don't know everything that changes. NEWS and the release notes on www, github, and the email all come from commit messages. Better commit messages -> better release notes.
