18:16:45 <Simon> I now have gnc_restore_all_state completing in 1 second instead of 3 seconds, and all the registers are conditionally refreshed based on whether they're in focus or not

18:19:10 <Simon> what's strange is that it takes longer opening a file with GnuCash already open, still need to work out why that is
18:19:54 <Simon> I'll commit it tomorrow but it'll need testing to make sure I haven't broken something
