14:35:34 <Robert847> Hello. I am finally migrating to rel 4.8 from 3.8. Today I tried to perform my first OFX import. The import file has transactions from somewhere between two and four different accounts from my bank but only a few transactions appear in the import. About 30 transactions from the busiest account are not there.
14:37:10 <Robert847> The bank is in the middle of a weekend long scheduled internet outage so I cannot go back and get single account OFX files
14:38:14 <Robert847> Is this a known issue with release 4.8?
14:39:33 <Robert847> The transactions are in the file

14:56:34 <Robert847> The new option to show matched information looks nice, is that why multi-account imports did not work?

15:23:22 <Robert847> Tried searching the bugzilla but if this is an issue that was both reported and fixed, it won't appear

15:40:00 <Robert847> Tried searching bugzilla a different way and found bug 798327 which says that a similar problem was fixed in release 4.9 on 13/10/2021 European date format. I have not tried going down the rabbit hole of updating GnuCash past 4.8 in Ubuntu 22.04 based Oses

19:42:43 <Robert847> Bugzilla told me '798492?' is not a valid bug number nor an alias to a bug.
19:44:24 <Robert847> But this bank has been producing well formed OFX files for years. I am now installing 4.11 in a windows 10 computer to see wha happens there
19:47:56 <Robert847> I guess the questionmark was not supposed to be in the url
19:49:21 <Robert847> no, but as I said the bank has not made that sort of error in years and it has been working hand in glove with Intuit
19:50:21 <Robert847> Win10 is making it hard to install Gnucash
20:11:30 <jralls> Yeah, it doesn't like that we don't code-sign the installers.
20:24:29 <Robert847> OK, I got 4.11 into WIN10, copied a test data file and the same OFX file to windows, and GnuCash 4.11 found the 30 some transactions in the other account and is trying to import them
20:27:45 <Robert847> This instance of WIN10 does not like to share files so I don't want to use it other than for a test
20:32:16 <Robert847> Monday the bank should be back online and I hope I can switch to single account ofx files until I get a Linux machine set up somehow with 4.9 or later.
