09:39:47 <grepular> This tax year was my first year using GnuCash to track my personal finances. The first time I used any software to do so in fact. The UK tax year ends on April 5th and a new one begins. I'm wondering if there is a recommended process at this point? Should I just continue as normal, or start a brand new set of accounts? Or is there something built in to GnuCash for this?

12:27:27 <CDB-Man_> grepular: Closing books is an optional procedure, since the reports can operate independently of closed books. Personally I always recommend closing books for good accounting hygiene
