09:52:22 <rangerrr> Hello, Using Gnucash 4.2 with Postgresql DB of several years. When I add a new entry it fails to save to database. Postgresql log says it fails to insert into table slots because the primary key already exists. Currently it attempts to insert id 1641.. then 1642.. then 1643... sequentially. This table has 10,000 entries. What can I do to overcome this problem?

16:28:57 <rangerrr> fell: Arch Linux, GnuCash 4.2, Postgresql 12.4. Database originally created on Gnucash 2.x with Postgresql 9.6 I believe. A multitude of errors: Gnucash attempting to create tables that already exist, or insert rows where the id already exists. Result is that most attempts at data entry fail. As a workaround, I exported the accounts and entries using Gnucash and imported them into a fresh database. This has "fixed" the unique id's in the
