11:04:48 <jralls> chris, I think most of the time spent in xaccTransBeginEdit is copying the transaction for the rollback... which gets discarded most of the time. As gjanssens pointed out to you yesterday you can and should wrap multiple edit actions in an outer xaccTransBeginEdit. Be careful if you're doing that in code with a UI to ensure that if the user cancels that you unwind all of the inner edits before letting xaccTransRollbackEdit run.
