10:26:38 <gjanssens> chris: tx, I wanted to verify that. IMO these can then go in 4.X
10:28:50 <chris> fwiw I have a one-time migration path to fix budget signs, but will require some book-feature/guard mojo and gnc-dialog-warning y/n to apply fixes; when you have time i'll go into more detail

16:27:22 <Gerd> jralls: I tried different versions 3.x in the past and also the regular 3.7. With all of them I had no mouse and changed back to 2.6.19.
16:30:02 <jralls> Gerd: That's really interesting. No-one else has reported anything like it. Is there anything special about your mouse?
16:33:15 <Gerd> jralls: Maybe it is that Iam using a Wacom Graphire, but I have also a standard mouse which I also tested without success

16:36:38 <jralls> I don't know about Wacom support under Windows, so that might indeed be part of the problem--particularly if it's not quite right. What does "no mouse" mean? Does the cursor disappear when it's over the GnuCash window, or does it show up but GnuCash doesn't respond to any mouse events?
16:37:24 <jralls> Would you be willing to shut down, unplug the tablet, plug in the mouse, and start back up, then try?
16:37:45 *** monkeyjuice has quit IRC
16:39:58 <Gerd> The muse is still visible but clicking on anything will not lead to any reaction of GnuCash. Even the cross to close the program on the right top will not close the program.
16:41:19 <jralls> So no mouse events are read. What about typing at it? Can you drag the window around?
16:44:09 *** gjanssens sets mode: +o gncbot
16:44:45 <Gerd> No, I am not able to drag the windows around. But your hint with the Tablet was great. I just disconnected the tablet and now I can use my mouse. Anyway now I have to find a solution for the tablet.
16:46:47 <jralls> Didn't even have to reboot? That's fortuitous.
16:49:49 <Gerd> Yes, I rebooted after installation of the newest GnuCash. Now I reconnected the tablet and also the mouse of the tablet works.
16:50:31 <jralls> That's Windows for you. :-/
16:50:38 <Gerd> I will se what happens after a reboot.
16:50:59 <Gerd> Thank you.

20:18:59 <JacobS> Hello everybody - I'm new to this channel so please excuse me if I'm not following the norms. I'm running into an issue generating reports using GnuCash version 3.7+(2019-09-07) on Windows 10. It seems that whenever I generate a non-text graph (piechart, chart, etc.), GnuCash hangs and never responds again. The report is successfully placed as an HTML file in my Temp directory. The trace
20:18:59 <JacobS> log file just has a bunch of entries that say "* 17:07:23 WARN <qof> [gnc_numeric_to_decimal()] Rounding required when 'never round' specified." which seems fairly benign. I had the same problem on version 3.6 except it would hang 75% of the time. I updated hoping that it would be fixed and the problem seems to have gotten worse. Before this I was on version 2.x and things were working
20:18:59 <JacobS> but I wanted to get on the latest bits. I have not tried downgrading yet, although I'd be happy to do that if needed. I'm trying to figure out if this is a known issue, if there's a work around, if there's a way to gather more information, or if I should file a bug.
