05:22:07 <gjanssens> @tell warlord Can you rename the 4 maint windows builds that have been erroneously built as gnucash-3.900-... ? I would replace the 3.900 with 3.5. This won't change the version reported by that installer when installed, but it will avoid users believing they installed the most recent nightly when they didn't.
05:22:07 <gncbot> gjanssens: The operation succeeded.

07:55:44 <warlord> gjanssens, which platform?
07:55:59 <warlord> oh, sorry, windows. it's too early.
07:56:57 <warlord> gjanssens, the most recent ones I see are already labeled 3.5-
07:57:19 <warlord> I only see 3.900 in master

08:21:06 <gjanssens> warlord: via https://code.gnucash.org/builds/win32/maint/ there are 4 on top which are labeled 3.900-2019-04-[21-25]
08:21:24 <gjanssens> On your shell they may be ordered differently

08:45:04 <warlord> gjanssens, in your opinion, if email was not deliverable in 5 days should I remove those addresses from the mailing lists? I remove immediate bounces, but what should I do with 5-day bounces?
08:52:47 <gjanssens> warlord: good question. I think 5 days may be too soon though.
08:53:13 <gjanssens> I may be on holidays for 3 weeks and not notice my mailsystem melted down (hypotethically speaking)
08:54:18 <gjanssens> Can we come up with a way to detect mail addresses that have been undeliverable consistently for at least a month and remove those ?
08:55:28 <gjanssens> And also the reason for delivery failure matters. If the gnucash mailing list for whathever reason accidentally ends up on some black list you may suddenly see lots of bounces for one mail hosting provider
08:56:48 *** Mechtilde has joined #gnucash
08:59:37 <warlord> I only get bounces like this during the monthly password reminder mails.
08:59:43 <warlord> I suppose I could keep a list, somewhere.
08:59:59 *** Mechtilde has quit IRC
09:00:06 <warlord> I don't know if there is a way to query mailman to ask the current bounce-status of an address.
09:12:07 <warlord> Maybe I'll just collect the names in a spreadsheet and remove them if they happen again next month.

09:47:45 <warlord> gjanssens, okay, there were a bunch of subscriptions to random emails at ml-in.narkive.net -- so I removed all those. That left me with 6 other bounce messages, which I put in a spreadsheet and will look at next month.

09:50:05 <gjanssens> Tx warlord, nice cleanup.
09:50:56 <warlord> I do remove things that bounce immediately, tho.. If the sender gives me a 5xx code on the 1st, I remove them immediately.
09:51:10 <warlord> Er, s/sender/subscriber/

12:17:21 <tgunb> hey, I have a minor issue with gnu cash. I can make the window only as narrow, as the toolbar is wide. I remember from earlier versions, that the toolbar 'collapsed'.
12:18:41 <tgunb> gnucash 3.5. does anyone else have that problem?

12:29:11 <gjanssens> That's de recent development build (so 3.5 plus patches), but I can't remember a change in that area between 3.5 and now
