13:25:13 <jralls> @tell chris Be very careful with localizing number in javascript. There are two potential issues: Getting the locale from GnuCash's environment because it might be different from the operating system's and getting it in a form that the javascript implementation can digest. That's been the crux of the problems in bug 797067.
13:25:13 <gncbot> jralls: The operation succeeded.

13:35:58 <gjanssens> jralls: I have just merged/closed https://github.com/Gnucash/gnucash/pull/391
13:36:31 <gjanssens> However I see there's one review request still open in your name. Can you close it ?

13:48:38 <jralls> gjanssens: Though for completeness I've marked the two conversations "resolved". I don't see a way to turn off the "requested changes
13:48:41 <jralls> " flag.
13:51:01 <gjanssens> Ah, I didn't see there were two open conversations still
13:51:15 <gjanssens> I only saw a red sign next to your name
13:52:21 <gjanssens> And that is still there apparently.
13:53:11 <gjanssens> I suspect that's a github bug because right before closing the PR there was frame in which I could "dismiss" your review request.
13:53:30 <gjanssens> I didn't want to do that myself, but apparently it can only be done before closing the PR
13:53:47 <gjanssens> In the end I agree it probably doesn't really matter.

14:03:41 <gjanssens> jralls: even better
14:04:29 <jralls> Thanks for cleaning up the PRs. I'm a bit snowed-under right now.
14:06:43 <gjanssens> Yeah I noticed ;)
14:06:59 <gjanssens> I'll see what I can do in the coming days

16:44:03 <asoftbird> Hi there, quick question regarding the sorting options for report charts; the "Amount" sort for stacked bar charts sorts per set of subaccounts, then resets the sort for the next subaccount set. Is it possible to sort _all_ subaccounts in the same order?
16:44:15 <asoftbird> sorry if this isn't very clear, I suck at explaining I've been told ;P
16:45:13 <asoftbird> effectively, if I have one top level account x with subaccounts x1, x2, x3 and one top level y with subs y1, y2, y3, it would sort the x subaccounts properly, put the Y stack on top and restart the sort from 0
16:45:37 <asoftbird> wondering if it's possible to start the sort from 0 for all accounts regardless what the parent account is
16:46:38 <asoftbird> (please ping me if you're responding, might not have this screen open 24/7)

19:43:07 <chris> jralls I'll keep eyes peeled for any bug reports about locale in javacsript... if there are any, I'll handle via a graceful degrade ;-) -- if this is merged as is, then only unix users will receive this feature...
19:43:23 <chris> I think asoftbird wants multilevel sorting in charts
19:43:35 <chris> which is *not* easy
19:44:22 <jralls> I wasn't sure what asoftbird wanted. It seemed that he might be reporting that it's not consistent if there are two parent accounts.
19:48:26 <chris> I think he means: e.g. selecting "Income" and "Expense" and all their subaccounts, and sorting via Amount. AFAIK the amounts are sorted across all accounts so all numbers are jumbled up; it's more clever to 1st-level sort Income-children before Expense-children, and 2nd-level sort their amounts.
19:48:28 <chris> AFAIK.
