12:21:59 <grede> Hi All, I have an issue with saving a file. Saving a new gnucash file works, everytime. But when I try to save again a file that I modified, the client crashes (I assume, it just goes away, no errors, no nothing). I read online that some issues might be with google drives, etc. failing the saving, since the app is trying to update the file before save is completed. Tried to find anything one wiki but didnt manage. Any suggest

13:22:43 <warlord> Yeah, unfortunately that trace file doesn't talk about a system crash, so you'll have to use a debugger to get an actual stack trace -- or hope someone else can reproduce.
13:23:12 <grede> running all recent tries gnucash as admin. Last try I even killed all my AV / malware software. still same thing. I closed OneDrive. File location is not shared, nor on NW drive. folder is full control for admin, system and application packages (not sure if that helps)

13:54:27 <jralls> grede: Switch to the SQLite3 backend. GnuCash's XML backend has always renamed the old file with the timestamp and saved a fresh one for safety. The SQLite3 backend uses a database file and updates it in place instead.
