10:12:14 <WebManOfFesto> I got GnuCash 2.6.12 from the Ubuntu repository. I see that GnuCash 3.4 is being distrubuted on https://gnucash.org/. What's the best way for me to get (and keep up to date) the most recent STABLE version of GnuCash. The gnucash.org site takes me to a download on SourceForge. I could install that but it won't get automatically updated when I update software on my Ubuntu laptop.

18:37:45 <jralls> For a brand-new language, quite a lot, something like 3500 msgids, though very few translations have all of them. Unfortunately I don't think we have any guidance about which ones would be the most important.

Although we're considering setting up a gettext-based translation system at present each documentation translation except Italian is a stand-alone Docbook document, and we've disabled generating new documents on the Italian translation because it got too far out of date.
