12:05:22 <InkalAwa> Just a quick question, I switched a while back to use the sqlite3 back-end of the gnucash file as it was faster to load than the xml version. Now if I want to edit the template of a scheduled transaction using the scheduled transaction editor gnucash tells me that the transaction is being edited in another location and it will not let me change it. Is this a bug or is there a better way?

13:10:26 <InkalAwa> I am using 3.2. using xml, it takes longer at startup, and then when ever auto save kicks in you can't do anything until it finishes saving. That is why I switched to the sqlite file.

13:23:07 <warlord> Yes, *saving* is definitely faster in SQL because it saves-on-commit, vs XML which has to write out the whole dataset. but startup of SQL should be slower because there is much more work for it to do vs. just parsing the XML.

14:05:12 <InkalAwa> what I am trying to do is open a scheduled transaction tab, (Actions/Scheduled Transactions/Scheduled Transaction Editor). Next I double click on a transaction in the list of scheduled transactions to occur in the top part of the tab which opens up a new window called Edit Scheduled Transaction.
