04:54:52 <gjanssens> .
04:54:52 <gncbot> gjanssens: Sent 13 hours and 22 minutes ago: <jralls> After fixing the test-qof failures and locking gtest all tests pass on my Ubuntu VM.
04:55:35 <gjanssens> jralls: I saw your second message also, though gncbot thinks it's for gjanssens: instead of gjanssens
04:56:32 <gjanssens> Nice work. I'm quite pleased we got gtest working.
04:56:52 <gjanssens> And as a bonus it unveiled some additional issues which you promptly fixed :)

08:49:40 <GnuNewbie> I an using GnuCash 2.6.15 and Tax Schedule Report/TXF Export. The report states that the Tax Year is 2016 and not 2017. I believe I have all the settings in GnuCash and they are correct. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

12:16:55 <gjanssens> Yay! My current c++ work on the csv-importer passes travis :D
12:17:03 <gjanssens> Not that I'm finished though
12:17:45 <gjanssens> I still need plenty more unit tests and some scenarios aren't working correctly (importing from fixed width column files is currently broken for example)
12:17:55 <gjanssens> So not ready for master yet...

12:47:19 <felsenhower> Hi
12:51:27 <felsenhower> I just started using GnuCash and receiving my data from my online bank via HBCI. When I transfer money from one account to another, is there any way to link those two as each other's counter-entries?

14:40:05 <GnuCashNewbie> GnuCash 2.6.15 - I cannot get the date to be 2017 for the Tax Schedule Report/TXF Export no matter what. I have checked all of the date setting a I believe they are correct. The other Reports have the correct dates of 2017
14:41:12 <GnuCashNewbie> The program displays the data as 2016
14:41:24 <GnuCashNewbie> sorry, the report displays the data as 2016
14:42:39 <GnuCashNewbie> correction the "report" displays the date as 2016
14:59:55 <jralls> GnuCashNewbie: Open the report options and select the period you want on the General tab.
15:00:56 <jralls> GnuCashNewbie: Oh, wait, Tax report? Of course that's last year. You pay last year's taxes by April.
15:22:59 *** fabior has joined #gnucash
15:24:10 <GnuCashNewbie> So it is using last years date since that is the tax year now..makes sense

15:27:35 <GnuCashNewbie> I have set the account to show in the Tax Report Options in the Edit tab; However, when I run the Tax Schedule Report nothing is shown. I must be doing something wrong. The selected income accounts have the "tax related" box checked and grayed out as expected.
15:29:56 <GnuCashNewbie> I know the problem. I am using data for 2017 so nothing should show up in the 2016 report..duh. Thanks

20:58:56 <warlord> rlosey: You need a master brokerage account (type Asset or Bank) with the currency in which all those stocks are denominated, and then individual stock/fund subaccounts for each stock/fund.
20:59:43 <warlord> You will need to create stock entries in the Security Editor (which you can reach from the New Account dialog, after you change the Type to Stock or Fund)
