01:04:31 *** rockfx01 has joined #gnucash
01:07:22 <rockfx01> Hey ya'll, I'm trying to get back into hacking on gnucash again (haven't touched it in 3-4 years) and am having some trouble getting off the ground. After installing googletest/gmock i am getting all sorts of compiler errors when i run make
01:08:26 <rockfx01> for example
01:08:55 <rockfx01> /usr/include/gmock/gmock-spec-builders.h:1682:29: error: ‘args’ was not declared in this scope

01:09:03 <rockfx01> ^
01:15:23 <rockfx01> I am using libgtest-dev version: 1.6.0-1ubuntu6 and google-mock version: 1.6.0+svn437-0ubuntu5
01:28:22 <rockfx01> unless i'm mistaken, it looks like the travis builds don't run the gtest tests - can anyone confirm if they are working?

12:13:26 <jralls> @tell rockfx01 Yes, the google tests are working. I'm using gtest-1.7.0. IIRC gtest isn't run on Travis because its compiler is too old for them to work correctly. Travis supports only Ubuntu 14-04 and then only as a feature, it defaults to 12-04. What are you using?
12:13:26 <gncbot> jralls: The operation succeeded.

12:27:58 <leolein> Good evening. Is anyone present to ask my question in German?
12:31:12 <leolein> I use gnucash for over a year. For a few days, online banking has stopped working.
12:32:51 <leolein> I have read in forums that the HBCI URL has changed. I have identified the URL of my bank and changed it. Also the version changed to 3.
12:33:10 <warlord> fell: are you around the help leolein ?
12:35:08 <leolein> It still does not work. HBCI: 9050 - PinTanJ2EE HBCI system not available (M)
12:35:30 <fell> Yep
12:35:37 <leolein> :-)
12:35:57 *** gncbot sets mode: +o fell
12:37:10 <fell> Huh! Welche Bank?
12:37:35 <leolein> Hallo fell.
12:42:24 <leolein> :-)
12:42:55 <fell> Da liest auch der Entwickler mit. MArtin kennt die Fallstricke am Besten.
12:43:28 <leolein> das ist eine deutschsprachige mailingliste?
12:43:34 <fell> Ja
12:43:38 <leolein> :-)
12:51:12 <leolein> Danke .-)

16:11:09 <jralls> fell: I'm looking over goodvibes's latest PR. He's using an https link to the docs on the website as a cross-reference between help and the guide and vice-versa. Other places we've used a 'ghelp://...' URL, which I think would work only on Linux. Do you think the www.gnucash.org URL is OK or is there something better that I don't know about?
16:13:57 *** swissgnu has joined #gnucash
16:15:31 <swissgnu> helle everybody, is there active development to support iso 20022 in gnucash
16:16:07 <fell> Puh, I think some local XREF"../..." would be right, but did'nt test it.
16:17:03 <fell> Using gnucash org would not work for offline reading.
16:18:47 <fell> swissgnu: wrong place.
16:19:17 <swissgnu> sorry, where do i find information?
16:19:18 <fell> You should ask at aqbanking.de.
16:19:36 <swissgnu> thx, will do, bye
16:20:04 <fell> That is the library for all kind of online banking
16:20:20 <fell> used by many programs
16:21:21 <fell> In our wiki you can find the adress of their mailing list.
16:21:49 <jralls> fell: xref is for cross-references within the document. It won't work between help than the guide.
16:22:22 <jralls> It's true that a web link won't work when offline.
16:23:58 <jralls> But ghelp: probably won't work on PDFs and certainly not on ebooks.
16:24:46 *** swissgnu has quit IRC
16:26:21 <jralls> I don't know of anything that would work offline aside from ghelp or the CHM equivalent (I wonder if the CHM creation script converts the ghelp URL to the CHM equivalent...)
16:29:32 <fell> Docbook has a bunch of ?link elements
16:30:14 <fell> ulink: Url
16:31:33 *** mlncn has joined #gnucash
16:32:01 <fell> olink, link, xref, anchor
16:36:44 <fell> I have to reread it every time, I use it.
16:40:05 <fell> The ULink element forms the equivalent of an HTML anchor (<A HREF="...">) for cross reference by a Uniform Resource Locator (URL).
16:41:42 <fell> OLink provides a mechanism for establishing links across documents, where ID/IDREF linking is not possible and ULink is inappropriate.
16:42:35 <fell> TargetDocEnt must be the name of an entity (previously declared in the DTD or in the document subset).
16:43:49 <fell> e.g. <!ENTITY myotherdoc SYSTEM "myotherdoc.sgm" NDATA SGML>
16:57:48 <fell> in docbook-tdg the olink page describes IMHO, what we need
17:02:50 <fell> Probably it would reqire a reordering of our directory structure from part/lang to lang/part
17:08:53 * jralls reads the olink page
17:10:17 <fell> then we could use <ENTITY guide SYSTEM ../guide/gnucash-guide.xml> in the header
17:12:36 <fell> and <olink targetdocent="guide" ...> later
17:12:38 <jralls> Hmm. Seems worth experimenting with, at least to see what the resulting URIs look like in each document format.
17:13:46 <fell> But for me that is too late tonight. ;-)
17:15:57 <fell> When will you be here tomorrow, jralls?
17:16:39 <jralls> umm, probably around 1830 your time.
17:17:05 <fell> Which TZ?
17:17:23 <fell> Ok
17:17:45 <fell> I will try to be here, too.
