20:50:17 <David77> Hi. At the moment I am using release 2.6.11 in Debian Jessie and I do not recall whether that release is buggy with respect to editing splits. I am editing splits and when I have selected the correct accounts and hit Enter,I get an error that the account = does not exist, should I create it? but there is no blank line in that transaction or any other transaction that I have recently touched in a different register.

20:57:27 <David77> I found the problem, it was in the search register from the Since Last Run that ran earlier. Apparently one of those transactions got changed when a certain Doberman nudged my arm.
20:59:25 <David77> Now I am stuck because GnuCaash won't let me abandon the undesired edit.

21:30:57 <David77> When editing a transaction in a different register it would be nice to have a warning containing the name of the register view that contains the error. Presently that only happens when doing things like closing GnuCash altogether.
