01:29:27 <justinhaynes> for example, I am modelling a car loan. I started using gnucash this month, but I bought the car in February. I exported the loan the loan transactions from my bank as csv and split them into three files: fees, interest and principal.

01:31:08 <justinhaynes> so for each month there are three separate basic transactions consisting of a withdrawl from Checking and a decrease (car loan principal) or an expense (fee and interest)
01:31:52 <justinhaynes> I'd like to merge those three separate transactions per month into one split. It may be faster for me to just start over and enter the first transaction then copy it and edit the amounts.
