I tried to generate one using GnuCash but he told me that what I generated was a Transaction Report and not a General Ledger. I selected each category and subcategory to include in the report. This might be one source of my mistake. I'm not really sure what a General Ledger needs to include and he hasn't made that clear. Instead, he's suggested that I bring my laptop to our next meeting and
