15:25:39 <ezraR> Hello all
15:26:08 <ezraR> I am trying to set up an online bank and have an issue
15:27:08 <ezraR> I entered my username and password then accepted the cert however when I try to get my account list it says invalid password
15:27:27 <ezraR> I cant find anyway to reenter the password
15:28:14 <ezraR> I have tried deleting the account and creating it again and it doesn't ask for a password.
15:28:43 <ezraR> By account I mean user
15:31:20 <jralls> ezraR: You must have told it to remember the password. Go to Preferences>Online Banking and uncheck "Remember PIN".
15:33:15 <ezraR> It is not checked
15:33:38 <ezraR> I also dont get that option when entering the password
15:34:11 <ezraR> If I try a different user ID it will ask me for a password
15:34:50 <ezraR> But no matter what I do if I use the original user ID it does not
15:36:32 <ezraR> I have even tried creating a new file
15:39:24 <jralls> ezraR: Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong dialog. Are you on the "Bank" tab of the AQBanking setup wizard's Edit User Dialog?
15:39:36 <warlord> ezraR: it wouldn't have anything to do with the gnucash datafile; it's stored in the AqB configs
15:44:17 <ezraR> I am in the OFX Direct connect setup wizard
15:44:35 <ezraR> I also just figured how how to get it to ask me
15:45:03 <ezraR> I have to close gnucash then when I open it again it asks me again
15:45:39 <ezraR> Thanks all
15:46:04 <ezraR> Its a bit odd but whatever works ;)

16:25:45 <sdgathman> My books are taking a while to load, so I want to ditch 10 years history and start fresh this coming january. Is there a "new year" type utility?
16:26:54 <sdgathman> It would keep uncleared transactions on bank/credit card/stock/other reconciled accounts, and transfer balances.
16:27:17 <sdgathman> Into a new file, of course. Keeping the old file for reference.

16:53:49 <jralls> sdgathman: Sorry, GnuCash doesn't have any such facility.

20:32:11 <warlord> sdgathman: the closest is File -> Export Accounts and then you can manually copy over appropriate opening balances and uncleared transactions.
