07:08:24 <temporal> How can I pay liabilitys off in a budget? I know they are not expenses but transfers, yet I spend all money already before I started the gnucash file. How can I make sure my budget considers that that value is not spendable every month?
07:34:36 <warlord> I think you can just add the asset to the budget
07:35:03 <warlord> (note that I've never used the budget feature)
08:01:33 <temporal> But its not an asset, I think I should add a negative amound to the liability in the report
08:01:37 <temporal> it seems to work...
08:01:43 <temporal> s/report/budget
08:12:52 <warlord> Sorry, yes.. An Asset is a -Liability -- they are effectively the "same type" of account, the only difference if whether it's a debit account or credit account. Regardless, you can still add them to the budget. Liability to pay it off, Asset to "save"
