16:04:48 <jralls> georges32: Once you create a transaction with a particular date in a particular register that becomes the default date until you close the register or restart GnuCash. Pressing the + key while the date field has focus will set it to the computer's clock.

16:41:57 <georges32> jralls, the problem that i had was that gnucash was taking crazy dates like 1970 or 2017 very time i was opening it ... finally i solved the problem by instaling an older version (2.1.5). i hope that will still working tomorrow..
