If it says "sfadmin*" then the project has been taken and there may be advertising wrappers on the download. There may be anyway if the project maintainers have agreed to it, but we haven't. You also need to be careful on the download page to not click any of the download buttons. There are also

14:05:14 <borneokid> I am interested in trying GnuCash to replace Quicken. I have been unable to open the www.gnucash.org site for the past 2 days. Is this due to maintenance or is the project not continuing? wiki.gnucash.org seems to be working though but if I want to download Gnucash to try it out, I am asked for a donation right away. So far, I have not had a good feeling about this. Anybody can comment on their experience? Thanks.
