Is it possible to make GnuCash do this automatically and show it in the summary bar, similar to how GnuCash displays Net Assets there? Or can I have a little custom report that will show me. I know that I can do this with a calculator or in my head with a little effort. I just wanted to kn

02:38:59 <markvorhoff> Thanks for the directions! I had found the cashflow report before, but i was stumped by the Accounts Tab. It seems impossible to select just my Checking Account and my Credit Card, and exclude everything else.

My goal is to have a report that automatically subtracts the current credit card balance from the current checking balance. I haven't been able to discover how to make Cash Flow or Transaction Reports do that.

03:14:52 <markvorhoff> Hi Fell, thanks, I finally figured out how to use the Cash Flow Accounts Tab properly. The key (pun alert) was that I had forgotten how to select individual items from a list without selecting the intermediate accounts. Thanks for the help in getting me going in the right direction!
