17:33:15 <David417> Hi. I am researching an issue of undefined currency in an account named Imbalance-RYTRX which GnuCash created for me when I was using release 2.4.13 in Windows 7. For some reason that account is of the Bank type but showing that it is using the security RYTRX (Royce Total Return Fund Investment Class).
17:35:15 <David417> I am not sure how I created it, but when I open the data file using release 2.6.3 in Ubuntu Linux the problem was detected when I tried to run a report(I think that was when the message appeared.)

17:48:18 <David417> I found out when the problem is detected. If I double click the name of the account in the Accounts window I get an i message "Could not determine the account currency. Using the default currency provided by your system."
17:54:35 <David417> That account does not have any transactions in it so GnuCash can delete it, but I wonder if it would be possible for another such account to appear in a supported version of GnuCash.
