11:07:03 <xi_> my gnucash on ubuntu (2.4.13) is extremely slow for scrolling and clicking on an account - there is a huge delay to do basic mouse actions. My ubuntu doesn't have any later versions in the apt system so is this a known problem that is fixed in later versions?

14:27:17 <scfe> I upgraded to gnucash 2.6 (from 2.4) but it seems like the Python bindings don't work anymore. For example the 'new_book_with_opening_balances.py' script raises a TypeError in xaccAccountGetName. Should I first file a bug in bugzilla or is it better to ask on the mailing list first?
