14:18:05 <indub> Hi, I'm on Mac OS X and in the past few days, when I've tried to update stock and fund prices via the "Get Quotes" button, it gives me an error box reading, "Unable to retrieve quotes for these items: [all of my quoted items]"
14:18:35 <indub> I tried switching the quote source on individual securities to see if it would make the message go away, but no such luck.

14:19:24 <jralls> Yup. This is turning into a FAQ. Yahoo changed their URL. Most of the alternatives are just aliases for yahoo, so they're all broken.

14:20:41 <jralls> F::Q will have a new version out shortly -- today or tomorrow. When it hits, run the Update Finace Quote script in the download dmg after copying it to the same folder that Gnucash is in.

17:58:53 <jralls> Jeez, doesn't *anyone* search the mailing list before asking? Yes, everyone is having trouble because Yahoo changed their URL. The Finance::Quote folks have already fixed it in git and will have a new release on CPAN (version 1.19) today or tomorrow.
