04:11:36 <soa2ii> PaulFertser: Yeah, if I got time. I just have to figure out how to add -gdb to the CFLAGS of one ebuild. If I'd add it to my make.conf everything would be build with those settings. But I think I'd just do that, build gnucash and remove it then again. But right now I got a docotrs appointment. So we'll see later ;-)

I would like to update GNUCash accounts by inserting transactions via C++ from an outside app. I've read the C API on the Wiki and looked at the CuteCash code to the extent that I see a lot has changed since the Wiki was first written. As I go thru the learning curve to understand the Transaction process, I have to ask "Is there someone else out there that has already mastered the use of the C++ wrappers

11:55:37 <warlord> (there is no guarantee that the C++ wrappers will remain stable; you're more likely to get stability through the C api, though even that isn't really "guaranteed"
