12:26:14 <warlord> flipoxp: my spanish isn't all that good. You're using the program on Ubuntu and you're not allowed to select... something?
12:26:33 <warlord> And you want to eliminiate...??
12:28:19 *** benoitg has quit IRC
12:33:13 <warlord> Ah, yes, you cannot select more than one transaction at a time. That is correct. There is only one way to modify multiple transactions at once: if you want to move all transactions from one account into another account you can do that by deleting the account.
12:33:26 <warlord> Gnucash will then ask you where to move the transactions and you can choose the target account.
12:33:38 <warlord> But other than that, no, you cannot act on multiple transactions at once.

18:06:54 <ZoranP> Hello everyone... Quick Q about the generic import matcher: What would cause it to not display a transaction from the ofx file at all?

18:35:58 <john_> ZoranP: my first guess would be that it has a txnid that matches one that's already been imported.
18:41:13 <ZoranP> How can I check that?
18:43:12 <ZoranP> I see it in some of the gnucash *.log files, but not really anything indicating why it might not have been displayed.
18:50:58 <ZoranP> Or rather, more importantly: How can I get it to re-import the item from the ofx file? I'd manually change the fitid in the ofx file, but at this stage I'm not entirely sure which items aren't being picked up. Only one that I know of so far.

19:00:02 <john_> Sorry, I don't think that there's a way without editing the OFX file. Mikee is the expert on that, and even though he's logged in here he's probably not actually looking at it. Try emailing the user list.
19:02:43 <ZoranP> Is there no way to rollback the state of the gnucash file to before I did the imports, and maybe re-attempt the import?
19:03:09 <ZoranP> Thanks for helping me, btw...
19:25:13 <john_> Sure, you should have several files in your account directory with names like foo.201209081343.gnucash. Those are previous saves of your file, so you can open one of them with file>open. Once you find the one with the state that you want you should use "file>save as" to give it a new name without the timestamp on it. You probably don't want to overwrite anything until you're sure you have everything the way you want it.
20:00:06 <ZoranP> Perfect, I'll give that a go in the morning! Thanks :)
