09:36:59 <warlord> smw: no. You can theoretically build a C plugin later, although not easily. And a python plugin does not.. in both cases you just need to load it at runtime.

21:36:07 <gehrc> Also, I'm curious to know if it's possible to add pink sheets stocks to GnuCash. Can't seem to find where I can add that security type.
21:50:24 <smw_> gehrc, the drop down menu is a text box
21:50:40 <smw_> gehrc, you can make up your own namespace
21:50:48 <smw_> perhaps "pk"
21:51:22 <smw_> You can then fetch stock price info from yahoo if they have it
21:51:59 <gehrc> Ok cool. Thanks!
21:52:02 <smw_> "AMEX" and friends are examples :-)
21:52:06 <smw_> gehrc, have fun :-)
21:52:15 <gehrc> Any idea on my other issue then?
21:52:29 <smw_> never used scottrade, sorry
21:52:46 <gehrc> It's all good. You've already helped me get a good start on it then anyway. Thanks!!
21:56:05 *** fell_ is now known as fell
21:56:05 <smw_> gehrc, I am off for home. Good luck :-)

21:56:47 <warlord> boingy boingy..
21:57:35 <fell> what happend, warlord?
21:57:45 <warlord> oh, my cablemodem keeps bouncing.
21:57:54 <warlord> According to comcast the upstream is "red alert"
21:58:04 <warlord> I have a tech scheduled for 8a-12n tomorrow.
21:58:16 <warlord> Basically it keeps losing sync.
21:58:21 <warlord> Could be a bad splitter
22:00:21 <warlord> Basically, if gncbot is here then the server/net is here. if not, well, ...
22:00:24 <fell> In the afternoon my laptop decided ~40°C is to warm and shut down.
22:00:29 <warlord> OUCH
22:00:38 <warlord> anyways, gotta go deal with baby
22:00:57 <fell> good luck!

23:48:15 <RJ> Running 2.4.10 on Gentoo (they haven't bumped up to 11 yet), and having an issue with autocomplete/quickfill. I'll type a letter or two in the description, and as usual it will show a suggestion, with the remainder highlighted. If I am too slow to continue typing the rest (and by too slow, I mean something less than a second), the suggestion will become unhighlighted, the cursor move to the end of the field (as though I had pressed the
23:48:15 <RJ> right-arrow), and whatever I had continued to type will fill in from there.
23:49:00 <RJ> Any thoughts? I've read a few places that this sounds like an old old bug that got fixed a while back, but I haven't actually been able to find what that bug was caused by...
