03:31:37 <WormFood> any idea why my logo would come out as a black box when I print an invoice to a PDF? Before, it worked fine with a different logo. Is it possible that there is something odd about the format of my new logo, that allows it to print on paper ok, but not to a pdf? (sounds a little unlikely to me)

12:24:45 <g38> hello. how can I ask gnucash to evaluate the functions pmt, impt, ppmt? I'd like to see their values, to understand a few things

12:48:23 <g38> I have created a loan repayment and then slightly modified a few parameters in the scheduled transaction that was created. In particular I told it to create the transaction 60 days in advance. So gnucash created the first two repayments. But they were of the same value (same interest), as if the formula had been evaluated with the same value of the parameter i. Is this normal?
12:55:14 <g38> other question: in an account, I have 30 consecutive transactions that I want to delete. can I do that without deleting them one by one?

15:35:18 <john> g38: It would be unusual indeed for the interest rate to vary month-to-month. Even with an ARM, you'd ordinarily have the same interest rate for several months running.
15:35:27 *** todd has joined #gnucash
15:36:07 <john> In any case, you'd need to provide a method in your sx to set the interest rate
15:36:50 <john> As for deleting transactions in a batch: No, there's no way to do that from the GUI.
