09:31:57 <warlord> Thanks, fell. I still had it here.
09:32:43 <fell> btw: what is the command therefor?
09:36:21 <fell> warlord: could we blacklist "ehow.com" in the wiki config. It is our greatest spammer.
09:37:17 <warlord> The command is /topic ...

13:48:09 <gpoo> I would like to have a report for unpaid invoices (this seems related to https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=568174) and in the wish list (http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/WishList)
13:48:35 <gpoo> I wonder if this is just a matter of writing a custom report using guile or if there anything missing to do it

18:59:44 <ttt> I want to get a debug trace, so I start with gnucash --debug, but I don't get extra messages. Usiing 2.47 from svn. What am I doing wrong?
19:03:42 <felle> ttt: http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Tracefile
19:09:13 <felle> ttt: or start here: http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/FAQ#Q:_What_should_I_obey_as_a_beginner_in_bug_reporting.2C_enhacement_requesting_....3F
19:13:39 *** felle is now known as fell
19:17:00 <ttt> I did what it says in wiki/Tracefile, which is to start with --debug. I was expecting to see strings from g_debug(...) in the code, but nothing. I get pretty much the same file as when running without the --debug option.
19:28:15 <warlord> ttt: you need to specify which sections you want debug messages from
19:39:09 *** fDavid has joined #gnucash
19:41:58 <ttt> I want to trace check printing. I also tried --debug --extra.
19:55:13 <warlord> See http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Logging
19:55:35 <warlord> Although you may need to define that on the commandline.
19:55:48 <warlord> What's wrong with check printing?
20:01:22 <fell> looking also over http://cvs.gnucash.org/docs/HEAD/group__Logging.html I must confess, I don't know the possible values for log_domain.
20:05:29 <warlord> each module defines its own.
20:05:40 <warlord> it's a "(non)random" string
20:14:55 <warlord> Best way to figure out what to use it to look at the top of the .c file and look for the LOG_MODULE
20:15:14 <ttt> print-session.c defines G_LOG_DOMAIN "gnc.printing" . so in log.conf adding gnc.printing=debug worked great. Thanks
20:15:58 <warlord> you're welcome.
20:16:22 <ttt> The problem is very small print in windows ( I have XP SP3 to try ). I just thought a debug trace might show something.

23:00:22 <warlord> ttt: I dont think it's a font issue per-se -- I think it's more an issue related to windows printing, maybe with webkit.
23:01:44 *** warlord is now known as warlord-afk
23:24:54 <ttt> warlord: I didn't think webkit was involved. What is odd is that if a custom check format is used ( on the fly, not from a saved .chk file ), things print as expected. With a .chk file, everything is scaled smaller, including the grid and boxes when turned on. I don't have an XP dev env, so I don't think I can help on this one.
23:48:56 <ttt> Also, if I print to pdf using PDFCreator and set the 'printer' resolution to 72dpi, the layout is correct, grids and all. And sending the pdf to my printer looks good.
