09:26:45 <jscinoz> Hi... I want to define a new currency in gnucash, but It won't let me, it said "You may not create a new national currency." is there any way to work around this? I want to use gnucash to keep track of both AUD, and BTC (bitcoins)
09:28:29 <jsled> jscinoz: edit the currency definition file and rebuild from source.
09:28:44 <jsled> you could just treat it as a non-currency commodity. wouldn't be unrealistic even. ;p
09:29:00 <jscinoz> Oh... I might do that instead, save me 20minutes or so :P
09:29:47 <jscinoz> How can you define it as a new commodity without choosing one fo the various markets as the "Type"
09:30:46 <jsled> IIRC, you can just start typing into that combobox
09:30:50 <warlord> Type in whatever you want.
09:31:04 <jscinoz> Ah Gotcha
09:31:07 <jscinoz> Many thanks :)

10:17:57 <jscinoz> This is probably a stupid question... But I can't figure out how to change what columns are displayed on the overall accounts page.
10:19:09 <jsled> at least in 2.2.9, the right most header cell is a drop-down menu that lets you control which columns
10:19:50 <jscinoz> Ahh, silly me it seems so obvious now :P
10:19:52 <jscinoz> Thanks :)
10:24:37 <warlord> That's true in 2.4 as well
