12:04:54 <mib_fse2d3> Hi, I have a quick question, I've started using Gnucash and I've noticed when I import a OFX file from my Bank, the date is a day out. In the Date/Time preferences I have the Date format set to UK (have also tried setting it to Locale also). My (Linux/Ubuntu) System locale is set to Europe/London.
12:06:04 *** kpreid has quit IRC
12:07:33 <mib_fse2d3> So it looks like I have set up everything correct, my bank is UK based also and when I check the XML in the OFX file, the date is "20110130000000"
12:08:08 <mib_fse2d3> but this gets imported as 29th jan not the 30th!

12:08:45 <Jaymoid> is there somewhere I can set the timezone for the imports? Could that be it?

15:42:57 <lastm_> gnucash v.2.2.9 running on Ubuntu 10.04 only allows for the printing of a single check at a time. The gnucash-manual says that it will print multiple checks from a search-result window, but it still only prints a single check at a time. Has this been solved?

16:06:27 <mib_j8fe53> I started to reconcile my checking account for the first time, and the opening balance in the reconciliation window is 0, but I see the correct values in the accounts (checking and equity). How do I fix this?

20:14:08 <JasonBoxLaptop> hrm, trying to understand the schema, it looks like a split has a foreign key for the account and the transaction, but account can't get at transaction directly
20:36:00 <JasonBoxLaptop> Ah, there, that works
20:47:02 <JasonBoxLaptop> hrm, why are the value_* and quantity_* fields equal?
20:48:38 <JasonBoxLaptop> hrm, seems its http://www.mail-archive.com/gnucash-devel@gnucash.org/msg22812.html
