10:38:06 <warlord> ottoshmidt: tracking loans in what way? GnuCash can help you track your loan.
10:39:48 <ottoshmidt> i mean, for organizations as credit unions or micro-finance institutions to track clients and loans (pmts etc)
10:40:28 <ottoshmidt> warlord, the thing is that we are going to create one and wondered if there already is some free project launched
10:40:37 <warlord> There are docs on how to do that kind of "loan to a friend" tracking in gnucash. It's not specifically designed to do it, but you can track the loans.
10:41:07 <ottoshmidt> warlord, i know gnucash is a typical accounting soft..
10:41:13 <warlord> Yep.
10:41:34 <ottoshmidt> and we intend to integrate our loan tracking tool to gnucash

10:42:41 <ottoshmidt> thanks

13:45:09 <linas> Hey, do we have a gnucash banner ad, or other gnucash ads in standard advertising sizes?
13:45:47 <linas> I keep getting these "free advertising" coupons from google, linked-in etc. and figure I can post gnucash on these ...

17:37:54 <Koreth> Hello
17:42:41 <Koreth> how would one show capitalized interest on a loan?
17:43:17 *** Scott has joined #gnucash
17:44:31 <Scott> When I run a cashflow report it fails to include credit cards in the accounts list and i have to select them manually each time, any way to have these included automatically?
17:48:12 <Koreth> I have a liablility account set up for the principal amount of the loan, but the capitalized interest has to come from somehere. It isn't income, and I'm not sure how it would be an expense either.
17:50:51 <Scott> ?
17:51:14 <Koreth> relazed to a question I started asking right before you entered, Scott.
17:51:22 <Scott> oh
18:20:29 <Koreth> meh, gotta go.
