11:06:36 <notbatman> Thanks, blathijs, I discovered that the "check" line was blank in the Imbalance-USD account, transaction journal view. Perhaps I had entered it on the wrong line in the checking account. To fix the problem, I entered the correct info in the Imbalance-USD transaction, which made an identical entry in the checking account. I then deleted the duplicate entry in the checking account and all was well.
