23:49:04 <whoever> or should i still use the aler message on that , fyi: i already have to include twain.h , and associated twain files for scan support , and all the maintainer needs to to is go to twain.org to dl the new twain.h to keep it current (would be rare to have to do , since '99 they are only up to v 2), but could leav the unpaper and *ocr as system calls, just trying to make it easy on the windows user , respont , will read it in the morning

23:58:32 <jsled> either the dependency is installed and you can use it, or it's not and you can't. If that means fail the build configuration, so be it.
