16:21:04 <nmx> is there any guide for how to track spending on an FSA debit card? i found some helpful mailing list posts regarding FSAs but they were based on spending and being reimbursed, rather than directly debiting from a flex card

16:55:39 <nmx> could anyone help me with setting up the correct accounts for a FSA with a debit card?
16:59:49 *** warlord-afk is now known as warlord
17:00:07 <warlord> nmx: it works exactly the same way, except that you're pre-paying into the FSA.
17:05:02 <warlord> So each pay period you would split into the FSA account. Then when you spend it, it's FSA -> Ex:Medical
17:05:18 <warlord> At the end of the year zeroize it via FSA -> Ex:LostFSA
17:05:34 <warlord> (sorry to answer and run, but I gotta go)

22:21:07 <mezimezim> hey there...I have a question regarding cash flow reports
22:27:12 <mezimezim> I have run a cash flow on an expense report and Gnucash shows money coming "in" and money coming "out" of the account
22:27:29 <mezimezim> however, there was no money going out of the account
22:29:54 <mezimezim> the amount that Gnucash specifies as going at are amount that were going towards another expense account, in a split transaction in which the account I ran the cash flow on was involved as well...
22:30:21 <mezimezim> it looks like a bug to me
