02:09:19 <itsols> Hi, I wonder what I'm missing... My screens (eg: the accounts summary report) shows some values in LKR and some in GBP currencies. I only need to use LKR. Any ideas? I'm on ver.2.2.4

02:26:16 <itsols> And another question, what's the best way to make a backup of my current gnucash system so that I can bring it back later?

09:00:29 <Jimraehl> Is there any way in Gnucash 2.2.9 to see the invisible Date-Entered value, other than viewing the XML data in a text editor?
09:01:51 <Jimraehl> Are there any known transaction en try methods that do not set this value? That seems to be implied by recent Gnucash-user list observations of dates of Dec 31, 1969.
09:06:41 <Jimraehl> http://lists.gnucash.org/pipermail/gnucash-user/2010-February/033630.html mentions the old date 12-31-1969
09:15:16 <warlord> Jimraehl: no. the date-entered is internal-only.
09:15:29 <warlord> There may be methods that don't.
09:15:33 <warlord> (I dont know which ones)

16:39:22 <Jimraehl> thomas___: thanks for the clarification. In what register does this blank transaction with the old date appear. All of the Accounts registers that I have looked at, either have the current day as the transaction date, or no transaction date at all, in the blank transaction at the bottom of rthe screen. Perhaps this is a blank transaction in some kind of business register?

16:42:07 <Jimraehl> Dec 31, 1969 is what I would expect the runtime to interpret a missing or uninitialized date as. Often, programs assume no dates prior to 1970. Same kind of thinking assumed no dates past 1999.

19:52:20 <thomas___> jimraehl: I could very well be in a business register, but I don't remember exactly. I've been spending a lot of time poking at the business stuff. I don't have the patch applied right now.

20:56:09 <thomas___> jimraehl: I have tried it with the patch applied and for all account types the blank transaction has a 12-31-1969 date. I tried Bank, Cash, Asset,Expense,Equity,Income,Liabilty,A/R,A/P and Credit Card account types. I'm Ubuntu 9.10 and my config.log says ./configure --enable-aqbanking --enable-dbi --no-create --no-recursion

21:10:05 <mib_brandon1879> I'm wondering if gnucash reports can load images from the internet, such using the google chart API.
21:10:41 <mib_brandon1879> I tried and it didn't work, but I maybe I need to configure something.
