13:29:38 <JonathanEllis1> What would be the correct place in the account tree and account type for foreign currency conversions? I am tracking foreign currency transactions through my Paypal account. For a typical foreign currency spend there will be four transactions as shown in http://imagebin.org/81466. I am aware that the account credits and debits are the wrong value as they are in the wrong currency but they balance. I don't want to setup separate accounts for each cu

13:30:39 <JonathanEllis1> I don't want to setup separate accounts for each currency as that would be too much of a pain. I have setup an Equity account (Equity:Foreign currency conversions) to handle the transfers. Is this the right way to do this?
13:31:34 <JonathanEllis1> The reason I dont want separate accounts for each currency is that these transactions are imported from a qif file and my paypal statement shows all these transactions in this way.
